About fifteen years ago, I wrote this song, Fly Away, during a trying time in my life. As a Christian, there are moments when you just need a break—when the weight of life gets heavy, and all you want is peace, even if it means getting away for a little while. This song came from that place, a longing for rest, for stillness, for the kind of peace that only God can give.
